This year at DSYTC Carp, we’re fortunate to have tech education every Wednesday. As part of a 13-week series of lessons that will be repeated throughout the school year, this week we did a full-morning photography workshop. Our youth learned the essentials of taking good photographs as well as how to operate a number of different digital cameras. The photography workshop can be a springboard to photography or communications technology credits, an opportunity for the youth to take photographs to be used for their Voices of Change posters, or simply for purposes of social emotional learning.
